DOROTHY BETHEL Peacefully on July 26, 2009 in Kelowna, BC, Dorothy passed away at age 86. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Canon John Bethel; her daughter Mary Verigin (Larry); three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy (nee Humphreys) was born in Winnipeg and worked at the Bank of Montreal (Main and Portage Branch) till her marriage in 1948. Her outgoing personality was an asset during her years as a vicar's wife, serving in Manitou, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver. A service to celebrate her life will be held on August 8, 2009 at St. Mary's Kerrisdale in Vancouver, BC.
