ANTHONY (TONY) RODYCH It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Rodych at the age of 76 years at Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba on July 31, 2009. He was predeceased by his wife Anne, mother and father Mary (Kostiuk) and Peter, infant daughter Maryanne, sisters Doris, Stella, Anne, Pauline and brothers John, Mike and Bill. Mourning his loss are sister Nettie; sons Gary (Norine), Barry (Val), Pete (Pam) and Tony (Joanne); grandchildren, Mathew, Amy, Brett, Sean, Christine (Jason and baby to be), Lauryn, Aaron, Heather (Julian), Mike (Emma and Catherine), Simon (Niki), Fiona (Antony), Vicky and Samantha; great-grandchildren Jadsia and Bronwyn, brothers and sisters-in-law, foster children, nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers are David Matte, John Sekulic, Casimer Zolinski, Ken McCraken, Dave Pawluk and John Mederios. All the family would like to thank Dr. Ahmed and Tamara at Cancer Care Manitoba; The Gimli Hospital; The First Responders and Tony's neighbours. You will always be remembered. Prayers will be said on Thursday, August 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Gimli. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 7 at 10:30 a.m. also in the Chapel with Father Harry Chuckry officiating. Interment will follow in the Polish Pioneer Cemetery in Sandy Hook. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in Tony's name to Cancer Care Manitoba. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
