MARGARET ANN HILL (nee SHARP) Peacefully, at Riverview Health Centre, Margaret Hill passed away in the early hours of August 6, 2009 after a period of lengthy illness. She will be deeply missed by her son Martin Hill (Marnie Hill) of Victoria. She leaves to mourn as well, her sister Mercedes Sharp, her brother Carl Sharp, her brother Clifford Sharp (all of Thunder Bay), and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Martin (in the early sixties), parents Wilbert and Mary Alice Sharp, her brother Blair Sharp, her brother Donald Sharp, and her sister Dorothy Craib (Sharp). Margaret was born June 26, 1928 in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), Ontario. Early in her career she joined Powell Equipment Co. Ltd. in Port Arthur, transferred to Winnipeg in the early sixties, and remained as their receptionist for over forty years. Her life was dedicated to her career and raising a son as a single mother from a very early age. Over the years she had many interests ranging from camping, boating, snowmobiling, bowling and gardening. She was a people person, always with a smile and desire to help others. As Margaret wished no service will be held, final arrangements will be handled by the Bardal Funeral Home, with final destination of rest in Victoria. An everlasting peace after a hard fought battle with health is Margaret's final reward.
