PETER HARMS Peacefully on Tuesday August 4, 2009 at Bethania Personal Care Home, Peter Harms died at the age of 84 years, surrounded by family. He is survived by daughter Margaret (Ron) Fast, son Harry Harms (Janis); grandchildren Paul (Jennifer) Fast, Derek (Heather) Fast, Eric Fast (Janel Smith), Lindsay and Lisa Harms, and great-grandsons Ethan and Zachary Fast; also sister-in-law Anna Harms and family in Winnipeg; sister Margaret Harms, brother Hans Harms and family in Germany. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame, with interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing at the Church will be prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethania Personal Care Home, available at the service. The family thanks all staff at Bethania for their care and compassion.

We miss you Opa. We remember the special dinners at your home and visiting with you. We remember your kind and thoughtful ways. I remember how excited you were when we were coming to visit with Ethan. You were so happy and eager to see us. We love you very much. Till we meet again.
