STEPHEN PAUL MICHAEL ROACH It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing, with his family at his side, of Stephen Paul Michael Roach, on August 4, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by his wife Margo (nee Stubel) of 22 years, his son Benjamin, mother Mary and stepfather Jim of England, mother and father-in-law Dorothy and Bill of Winnipeg, brothers John (Marie), George (Shelly), and sisters Rita, Lori (Rob), Lecia (Corey); nephews Robert, Christopher, George, Damien, Kyle, Curtis; nieces Stormy Lee, Chelsea, Samantha, Jaimi, Melanie, Nicole, Danielle; brother-in-law Todd (Cathy) and sister-in-law Barb (Wade). He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and all his many close friends. Steve was predeceased by his father George Roach. Steve was a kind, strong, intelligent, hard working man. Thoughtful, generous, and loving as a husband, father, and friend. With a quick wit that none could match. An avid Blue Bomber football fan and hockey fan. I'd like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and staff of the Seven Oaks Oncology department and the 3rd floor patient care for their loving care and compassion. At Steve's request, cremation has taken place and in celebration of his life a small private gathering was held with his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
