MARIE-ANGE ADAMSON (nee POIRIER) It is with great sadness that the family of Marie-Ange Adamson announces her peaceful passing on August 7, 2009 with her children by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Jim and wife Valerie, daughter Bonnie and husband Boyd, grandchildren Melissa, Chrissy (Matt), Dayle, Jamie and great-grandson Nicholas. Also mourning her passing are brothers Omer and Leonard and sisters Dorothee and Irene. Marie-Ange was born on May 29, 1924 to Joseph and Clarinthe Poirier in Otterburne, MB. She married James D. Adamson on July 5, 1947 and they enjoyed 57 wonderful years together until his passing in December 2004. Mom was a beautiful, loving person with a heart of gold. She could always be relied on to lend a helping hand to family and friends and will be dearly missed. At her request cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of the lives of Jim and Marie Adamson on Sunday, August 23 at the Otterburne Hall between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. A donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
