ANDY PETER NEUFELD On Friday, June 26, 2009, Andy went home to be with his Parents and his Heavenly Father at the age of 42 years. Remaining to forever cherish Andy’s memory are his loving wife Joy; daughter Amanda (Taso); son Andrew; mother-in-law Sandy; father-in-law Ray (Lorraine); brother-in-law Scott (Diane); sisters-in-law Tracey (Fred) and Alex (Colin). He is also survived by his sister Kate (Rick); big brothers Ken (Kerri), Brian (Karen) and Don; nieces, nephews and a ton of friends; too numerous to mention them all. He was predeceased by his father David Neufeld; mother, Anne Neufeld; sister-in-law, Sandra and his nephew Danny. Andy was born in the city of Winnipeg on June 28, 1966. He was raised in Headingley and after the passing of his dad, moved to Winnipeg with his mom and brother Don. He then met the love of his life Joy; and they began their earthly journey together. Andy was an amazing dad to his kids and would do anything for them. Nothing was more precious to him than his wife and children. Andy also had a love of competitive sports. Didn’t matter if it was hockey, golf, baseball or whichever sport you wanted to play, Andy excelled at them all but he was best at being a husband, father, brother, uncle, employee and friend. Andy also loved to laugh, loved life, and he enjoyed a good time and loved a party, which he could do with the best of them. Andy had an impact on most people he met and will surely be missed. On Friday, July 3, 2009 Andy’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in The Bridge Church, 620 Oxbow Bend Road, (S.W. Corner of Portage Ave. and Perimeter Hwy.), Winnipeg, with Rev. Dr. Brian Brglez, presider. Immediately following the Service, a private family burial will be held and a reception will follow at the Assiniboia Downs Race Track. Please join us there. A Special Thanks to the Staff of Assiniboia Downs Race Track along with the EMS Staff. Thanks also to the Doctors and Emergency Staff and the three ICU Staff Members that were there (you know who you are). Lastly thank you to all our family and friends for their love, support, thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6-200 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. “Until we meet again and I say to you “Welcome Home”.
