Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA KERBRAT December 11, 1918 - August 2, 2009 Peacefully with family at her side, Linda passed away on August 2, 2009 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern at the age of 90. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Marliene, Donna (Doug), Janice (John), Cheryl (Ed), Larry (Tammy) and Laurie; grandchildren Darren, Vincent, Kim (Darrel), Donna-Lynn (Mike), Kevin (Helen), Diana (Doug), Jennifer (Ken), Chandra (Chris), Brent (Danita), Nicole, Nathan, Amber and Terrell (mother Fran); great-grandchildren Haldon, Carter, Coleman, Devon, Corwin, Nolan, Makenzy, Shelby, Dylan, Kristen, Garrett, Scott and Thea; her brother William; brother-in-law Frank Kerbrat (Joyce); sister-in-law Emily along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John Louis Kerbrat, son Gerald Frank, parents Julius and Emelia Zacharias, three brothers Dan, Art and Henry and four sisters Tillie, Edith, Adina and Olga. Mom loved her family and gave generously to all. She enjoyed cooking and baking and tending to her garden and flowers. Knitting was her passion and was sure every family and extended family member received a pair of mitts, a scarf, touque or a dish cloth. She worked hard all of her life and taught us a responsible work ethic. Mom never judged or condemned our poorer life choices but was always there for us all, loving unconditionally. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the Camper Community Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. We are very grateful to all the Home Care Workers in Ashern who looked after Mom so well, the doctors, nurses, aides and support staff at the Eriksdale Care Home and the Ashern Hospital. Thank you all so much for your genuine care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or to the Lakeshore Hospital Guild, in care of Julie Bergner, Box 721 Ashern MB R0C 0E0.
