Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY ISOBEL VINET (nee NEVILLE) February 6, 1920 - August 8, 2009 After a hard-fought and courageous battle with cancer, Dorothy relinquished this life to step into the arms of the loved ones who predeceased her; Husband Fred, Daughter Karen, Brothers Barry, Doug, Fred and Reginald, Sisters Vivian and Lillian. Dorothy leaves to mourn her Brother Stanley, Brother Barry's Love, Shanelle, Son Jack (Trudy), Daughter Janet, Daughter Arlene, and Special family member Liz; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy would like to thank all those who helped her in the past and whom she considered friends: Alice and Ian, Agnes and Garth, Hana and family, Dave and Helen. Sincere gratitude to Robin Allison for being there for Janet. Thank you to Carol and Karen for helping Janet at Riverview Health Centre. A special thanks to Lloyd and Audrey for making the journey easier. A thank you to the staff at Cancer Care and Riverview Health Centre and especially young Amanda. Heartfelt gratitude goes to all the staff and young students at Grace Hospice who cared so lovingly for Dorothy and made her last days easier with their comfort and care. Entombment will take place on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess St. Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3, a charity close to her heart.
