ELAINE MERLE SMEALL Elaine Merle Smeall, 74, passed away at home in Trinidad, Colorado on July 24, 2009. Elaine, a long time resident of Winnipeg, was preceded in death by her parents Philip and Marguerite Larocque, her daughter, Nanci Philips, and her granddaughter, Vianey Gudino. Elaine is survived by her husband, Howard Smeall, her children Judy (Bob) LaVigne, Doug (Joyce) Smeall, Kimberly Wright, Russell (Heather) Smeall, Susan (Armando) Gudino. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amber, Camille, Bonnie, Nicole, Bridget, Shawn, Brandon, Monique, Nicholas, and Brooke, and five and one-half great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews here in Canada. Services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Chapel Lawn in Winnipeg at 1:00 p.m. We get no choice, if we love, we grieve!
