EVELYN M. COGHILL June 9, 1923 - August 8, 2009 Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Evelyn passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, 3rd Floor Palliative ward in Comox, BC after her battle with cancer. Her son, Scott and sister, Audrey were at her side. Predeceased by her husband John and sister Lou. She is survived by her son Scott; daughter Lynda (Grant); sister Audrey: brother Howard; granddaughter Tara and great-grandchildren: Jarret and Ember-Lynn. The family wishes to thank Dr. Alison Stocks and her staff, Dr. Roger (Rocky) Moise, the 3rd floor nursing staff and a special thanks to the Home and Community Care nurses and care workers for all their work in making Evelyn comfortable when she was at home.
