  • Some years ago I examined my family tree and found out a brother of my grandfather migrated to Canada with his family. Since we lost contact with most of the rest of the family, I couldn't find any contact information. I'm very pleased to find out that Adolph and Georgina Heirman had founded a new home in Winnipeg. And also I'm sorry we lost contact. I will try to reach out from here in Flanders, Belgium to restore contact. - Posted by: Olav Heirman (Grandson of the brother Frans of Susan's Father Adolph) on: Apr 25, 2020

  • After being clients of this sweet, humble woman for oh so many, many years, we made a ritual of picking up donuts every time we came in to have our Income Tax’s filled. Each consecutive year, Susan would shock us with her razor sharp mind to help us get the most out of the yearly Taxes. She was, no doubt, always helpful to each and every one of her clients, always giving advice and being conscientious; constantly pouring her heart into each Tax form she filled out, no matter who the client was; she held no bias. We were always privy to such beautiful loving stories of her life as she saw it and as she spoke, she always shone brightly; proud of her contribution to the world and the legacy she would be leaving behind. Her laugh was a thing of beauty and one couldn’t help but to laugh along. She had precious life advice, making you envious that you did not share the kind of love and respect she had for the members of her family. I pray she is with her husband who, after his passing, took some of her light. I pray they are both at peace, watching over those they love most. Rest well, Susan. - Posted by: Tracey and Peter Leclerc (Friends/Income Tax Buddies) on: Aug 08, 2018
