Born: Nov 07, 1949
Date of Passing: Aug 10, 2009
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGAIL LYNN GRAY November 7, 1949 - August 10, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gail Lynn Gray on August 10, 2009 with her sisters by her side. Gail will be sadly missed by her sisters Sharon Gray, Elaine (Michael) Adams, her brother Donald (Leigh) Gray and nieces Andra and Breena, daughters Samantha (Corwin) Lovett/Materuk, Tamara Lovett and her grandchildren Joshua and Ryan along with aunts, uncles, and friends throughout Canada. Gail was born and raised in Winnipeg and worked at the Assiniboine Medical Clinic until 1994. Gail had many interests, but her true passion was for the welfare of sick and abandoned animals. She was involved with many animal rescue groups throughout her life and for all of us that knew Gail we will always remember how every animal that crossed her path, was cared for in a way that only she could do. In 2002 Gail moved to Kingston, Ontario to live with her sister Elaine and her husband Michael. The last two years of Gail's life journey were filled with much pain and suffering, which in true Gail style she met head on with courage, bravery, and dignity. At Gail's request cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gail's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada.
