MARTHA REMPEL It is with sadness and peace that we announce the death of Martha Rempel on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the age of 94 years. Remaining to forever cherish Mom's memory are her daughters, Eleanor and husband Butch Isaak, Mardy and husband William McKenzie; granddaughters, Tamara Dyck, Krista (Darren) Carlson; grandson Dan (Robyn) Powell; great-grandchildren, David, Sara and Michelle Dyck, Jakob and Lukas Carlson, Skyler, Brooklyn and Ethan Powell as well as many friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Monday, August 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Mennonite Church, Notre Dame and Alverstone Street, Winnipeg, MB. The family would like to thank all the staff at Calvary Place for their unfailing dedication to Mom and her care. They became her extended family and were as important to her as she was to them. Flowers are gratefully declined; however a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Psalm 37:5 Give yourself to the Lord, trust in him and he will help you.
