DANIEL (DAN) ROCHON 1957 - 2009 Daniel passed away peacefully at home on the afternoon of Thursday August 13 after a long illness. Daniel was predeceased by his father Eugene in 1974 and his step father Lorne Smith in 2001. Daniel is survived by his mother Florence, four brothers Marc, Michel, Paul (Bev), John (Charmaine); two nephews Christopher and Reece, two nieces Marissa and Jamie-Leigh, godmother Aurore Peloquin. The family would like to say thank you to so many people who helped Daniel during this ordeal, his friends especially. The ones who organized and attended the super social at the George, it meant so much to him. The staff at the Concordia Hospital (Oncology) they gave him the best of care, as did the Staff at Access Transcona/ River East, the people who offered their prayers, the people who phoned to inquire about him, the list could go on forever. To one and all, we are eternally grateful. Cremation has taken place and A celebration of Daniel's life will be held on Sunday, August 16 at 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West.
