Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWARD FELKOWSKY March 4, 1963 August 13, 2009 It is with sad hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Ward on August 13, 2009. Ward is survived by his loving parents Stan and Iris Felkowsky; sister Gail Plantje (Doug Carr); niece Dru Plantje (Marc Leger) and great nephew Alex Plantje; aunts, uncles, many cousins and good friends. Ward attended Nordale School and Nelson McIntyre Collegiate. He was employed with Henderson Directory as a supervisor. Currently he was employed at Killarney Printing working with his Dad. All those who knew him will always remember how he touched us. His kind heart and gentleness. He lived for Christmas. If he had his way, Christmas would be everyday. He listened to Christmas Carols all year round or you would find him playing Johnny Cash with tears in his eyes. Ward enjoyed playing and watching golf, especially cheering on Mike Weir. He was an avid sports fan. He lived for NFL football season with the Miami Dolphins and hockey season with the St. Louis Blues. Special thanks to the ICU staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. I first met Ward when, as a Family, we moved from St Vital to Norwood Flats and I was lucky enough to be enrolled in Grade 3 at Nordale and we immediately struck up a friendship that lasted over 40 great years. We were always together and we did all our ‘first times’ as well together. We enjoyed both playing and watching sports as well as partying with our favourite tunes. I will miss him so much.
