FRANK MOSES On Thursday, August 13, 2009, Frank Moses at Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care Unit. Predeceased by his daughter Claire in 1981, Frank is survived by his daughter Jane, relatives and friends in Britain and Canada. Frank was born and educated in Britain and served in the Merchant Navy from about 1952 to 1955. He moved to Canada in 1957 and worked in various places throughout Alberta and Manitoba. Frank enjoyed many years of sailing and the camaraderie at Gimli Yacht Club. Special thanks to Ken Jones and family, Gary Lincoln and family, Anita Lincoln, Teresa Dudar, Jocelyn Grenier, Lynn Burdett, Sally Broderick and Helmut Giersch, for their kindness, compassion and support. Our deep appreciation to family friends too numerous to mention, who assisted during this difficult time. Grateful thanks also to nurses Wendy S. and Lana, Home Care, Palliative Care and Riverview Health Centre for the care provided during the latter stages of Frank's illness. At Frank's request cremation has taken place, a celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Donations in Frank's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
