Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAY JOHNSON (nee JOSEY) March 4, 1935 - August 6, 2009 After a long battle with Alzheimer disease, Kay left us for a better place. Predeceased by her mother Odessa, sister Audrey and son Keith. Left to mourn husband David, daughter Lori (Oliver McDonald), mother-in-law Jean, nieces Una Richardson and Kay Parker. Kay is a graduate of Acadia University, BA (56) and UBC, BSW (63). She was a social worker at Valleyview Hospital and a social work officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. Kay was liked by all who met her. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Quamichan, 5800 Church Road, Duncan BC at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cowichan Valley Caregivers Society; P.O. Box 13 Shawnigan Lake, BC V0R 2W0 or the Cowichan Valley Hospice Society; 3122 Gibbins Rd.
