Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDEVON WILLIAM SINCLAIR April 2, 1984 August 13, 2009 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Devon, our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Devon will be sadly missed and forever cherished by his parents, Karen and Bill, sister Brooke (Wade), his nephew, Odin, grandparents, Nanny Betty, Nanny Joan and Papa Ken, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Devon was born in Winnipeg, MB on April 2, 1984 and lived all of his life in East Selkirk, MB with his family. He was enrolled in the French Immersion Program, where he met some of his life long friends. Devon recently completed his G.E.D and had aspirations of becoming a police officer for the Winnipeg Police Service. He was currently employed with Farmer's Edge Laboratories and was known for his strong work ethic. Devon loved spending time with his nephew, hunting, working out, training in jiu-jitsu, and playing a round of golf with his buddies. He will be remembered for his laid back personality, contagious smile, and great sense of humour. Devon was quite the jokester and could instantly put a smile on your face. He always had a positive outlook on life and always lived for the moment. You could always count on Devon to be in your corner and he was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (6088 PTH 9A, Selkirk, MB), with the Reverend Stephen Sharman officiating. A viewing will be held at 12:30 p.m. Cremation to follow with a private internment ceremony at a later date. Pallbearers are Lee Halipchuck, Marcus Gallant, Alex Haas, Sasha Levasseur, Jeffery Martin, Curtis Pay, and Wade Drzystek. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Papa's Ranch Equine Rescue. Donations will be accepted at the service or can be sent to Box 354 Clandeboye, MB R0C 0P0. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
