CHARLES (CHARLIE) EDWARD BARSKI 1917 - 2009 We regret to announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Charlie Barski, on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the age of 91. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, his wife Adel, his 2nd wife Minnie and all his siblings except his sister Beatrice. He is also survived by his daughter Armieda (sons Kevin and Derek), along with stepchildren Al (Helga), Dan (Mardy), Rod (Judi), Garry (Louise), Shirley (Ed), Susan (Lloyd) and Jack (Helen) as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charlie was born in Ladywood, MB. He served in the military, farmed the family farm, worked at Moss Spur and was a Commissionaire at Milner Ridge until his retirement in 1986. Charlie was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He always had a ready smile, a twinkle in his eye and a helping hand to those in need. His priority was always his family-especially the Apple of His Eye, his daughter Armieda. We will all miss his kind and loving heart. A special thanks to all those involved in his care and well being. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. D. Schmidt for her compassion and respect. Viewing will be Tuesday, August 18 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 19 at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel followed by interment in the Whiteshell Baptist Cemetery, Oldenburg, MB.
