Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryORVILLE CHARLES LANCELOT WILLIAMSON August 10, 1936 - August 15, 2009 Suddenly on Saturday, August 15, 2009 Orville Williamson passed away at his home in Teulon, Manitoba. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lyn, his children Susan (Jim) Lindsay, Judy (Francis) McGuirk and Patricia (Brian) Crockatt, his grandchildren Bryn, Torrey, Drake, Sean, Erin, Fallon and Vanessa; by Lyn's daughters Treena and Nadine and her granddaughter Savannah, as well as by numerous relatives and friends. Orville is predeceased by his first wife Anita, sister Patsy and brothers Maurice and Raymond. Orville was a skilled craftsman who worked for over 30 years in the automotive industry. He enjoyed woodworking and home renovations, which, after early retirement, occupied much of his time. In his long-time community of Grosse Isle and, more recently, among his neighbours at Cresent Creek Park in Teulon, Orville could always be found helping out with projects such as the restoration of a heritage home and the restoration of a piano to be enjoyed at the local recreation centre. Orville loved aviation, watching old war movies, listening to old time music and reading anything he could get his hands on. His true passion, however, was the game of golf. He played as often as the weather would allow, enjoying both the game and the many friends he made on the course. A remembrance celebration will be held in Orville's honour at Grosse Isle Community Hall, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Grosse Isle Recreation Club Heritage House Fund, Box 74, Grosse Isle, Manitoba R0C 1G0. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
