EDNA ANTIONETTE MCDONALD (nee SCHOFIELD) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, nana, great nana, sister and friend, Edna Antionette McDonald. After a short but very courageous battle with cancer, Mom passed away at home with her family by her side. Mom was predeceased by her husband Graham; parents Mimi and Walter Schofield; brothers Charlie, Bobby and Chester and nephews Walter and David. She leaves to mourn sons Gary (Marie) and Owen (Christine); daughters Lois (Bryan), Susie (Don) and Valdine; grandchildren Janelle and Justin, Ricky and Ronda, Trisha, Tara and Kathryn, Samantha and Tashauna; great- grandsons Braxton, Nolan and Micheal; sisters Lena Walker and Dorothy Gagnon; friend Lorne Dice and family; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was born and raised in Petersfield. She met Dad and moved to Clandeboye in 1950, where she lived the rest of her life and raised her family. Mom was a lover of all animals, great and small. Mom enjoyed a life filled with music and song. She was a member of the Harmonicats musical group for many years. She cared for many people in her career with homecare. The family would like to thank all of the people involved with Mom's care and all their support in this very difficult time; homecare worker Lorette; nurses Kris, Elaine and Candace; special friends Gerry Kellar, Garfield and Pat Forbes and Wendy and Gary Church. We would especially like to thank our sister-in-law Marie for all her kindness, love and support for Mom and all of us.
