Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES FRANK GAMBLE It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of James Frank Gamble on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the age of 51. James was a beloved father, son, brother and friend who always found his peace in the great outdoors which is where he took up many hobbies: photography, skiing, canoeing and kayaking. Remaining to forever cherish his memory are his two sons Eric and Adam, his mother Christina, his sister Julie and her husband Tyler and three children Billie, Keenan and Keifer, his aunt Val and her husband Jim and their children Shaun and Ben, his uncle Mike and wife Colleen, his mother-in-law Mary and father-in-law Ellie, his sister-in-law Linda and husband George and their two children Lance and Landin, his brother-in-law Randy and wife Donna, his dear friends John and Carol Watson, as well as his many close colleagues and friends. We take great comfort in knowing that James has joined family and friends who have predeceased him, our mom Sandra, his father Keith, his grandparents Betty and Frank and his dear friend Tom. James was born in Quebec February 24, 1958 and raised in Thunder Bay where he met his wife Sandra, the love of his life. Within a couple of years James and Sandra moved to Winnipeg to raise their children Eric and Adam. James touched the lives of many people through his Winnipeg group, through numerous activities with his son Eric, through his most recent employment with the Manitoba Justice Department and through past employment with Canada Post and the Ontario Provincial Police. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In keeping with James' wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday, August 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Please join us in celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Living Winnipeg. We hope now you have found your peace The white pines and the sandy beach The water lapping on the rounded rocks The ravens cry and the sun goes out. We love you dad. You'll always be with us.

We did not keep in touch our lives took much different paths. Yet I am still saddened by his passing we were close friends back then. James and I both liked to have fun first and appreciated the outdoors. That was our play ground where we we were free of all the city life. Just us and the camp fire. Trying hard to keep ourselves busy. We were both members of the boy scouts when we first met. Scouting was our thing. We were in ventures together and went out to the old boy scout camp at trout lake. I remember James used to like cb radios and taught me some of the 10-4 codes like 10-100. I'm not sure what it was for but I know it was important or funny. We laughed so hard the times we took his family lawn mower tractor out back of his house and tried to get it to jump and get air time. I never skied nor could I learn, I just was not made for that but he tried to get me interested all right. He had so much fun skiing. Scouting meant alot to him, he was very busy with it we, always had meeting and outings. I just want to say here and now that my life would have been much different had we stayed in touch. And I really miss him now. I will pray for him and his loved ones and may God bless him and all of u. - Posted by: douglas b zale (friend from along time ago back in thunder bay) on: Aug 19, 2012
