Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJURATA (JURA) KOHUT On Sunday, August 16, 2009, Miss Jura Kohut passed away at the age of 78. Jura was born in Stanyslaviv Ukraine. As a young girl of ten years, she was exiled to Siberia, with her mother Eugenia and older sister Daria, by the authorities of the former USSR. Then, together with her family, they spent time in Kenya, Africa before immigrating to Canada in the early 1950s. Jura settled in Winnipeg and had a long career working for the Monarch Life Insurance Company. Jura is survived by her oldest sister Lydia, nephews George (spouse Christina) and Mark Senkiw, great nephew Eugene and great niece Luba Senkiw, all of Toronto. Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jura's Memory, to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Winnipeg Branch. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
