GERALD ARTHUR SEARLE It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gerald Arthur Searle, aged 80 years, cherished father, grandfather and great-grandfather, on August 18, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital. Gerry was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Agatha Searle in 2007. He leaves his beloved five children: Frank, Cathy, Mary (Gerard Kennedy), David and Jacqueline (Joe Jamieson); grandchildren: Amanda Kennedy, Shayla Kennedy and Alia Searle; great-grandchildren: Jordan and Taliyah; his brother: Carman; and nieces and nephews: David, Steven, Lisa and Laurie. Gerald will be sadly missed by his longtime friends, Richard and Sandra Morton and all his friends from ANAF #283. Dad will be deeply missed, his kindness and his gentle soul were the foundation of his life and will be the legacy most remembered by his family and friends. Let us not mourn but remember a man well loved, let us celebrate all that he was and all that he loved. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the ANAF #283, 3584 Portage Ave., Winnipeg at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation and ANAF #283.
