MARY HLADKI December 15, 1925 - August 18, 2009 Peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, Mary Hladki, aged 83 years of Lac du Bonnet, MB passed away after a valiant six year battle with cancer. Remaining to forever cherish Mom's memory are her children Jerry (Cecilia), Del, Donnie (Norma), and Patricia; grandchildren Donna (Jarett), Nancy (Brian) and Kristin; her great-grandsons Reid and Liam, who were an inspiration to her in her final months; sisters Nellie and Doris, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Romeo in 1995 and grandson Jared in 1998; her parents Andrew and Mary; brothers John, Mike and Peter; and sisters Josie, Katherine and Ann. Mary was born to Andrew and Mary Olynick on December 15, 1925. She spent her entire life in the Lac du Bonnet area; her early years on the farm and her retirement years in town. She took great pride in her garden, flowers and yard until her health failed. Mary was a resident of Bonny Vista Lodge for her final four years. In compliance with Mary's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held and a private family interment will take place at a later date. Our family would like to thank Dr. G. Krepart at CancerCare, doctors and nurses at Pinawa Hospital for making Mom's difficult final months easier and all the staff at Bonny Vista Lodge for their excellent care, especially in the past year.
