Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPHINE (BABS) CAPOZZI Born in Winnipeg November 1, 1931 Died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Josephine (Babs) Capozzi (nee Arnott). She was predeceased by her parents, her beloved brother Gordon Arnott, and her ex-husband and friend Tom Capozzi. She is survived by their four children Cameron, Cascia, Caron, Colin and her grandchildren Tiffany, McCall, Thomas, Kashtin and Milan. Babs will be greatly missed by her many friends in Kelowna, Vancouver, and Winnipeg who remember her beautiful bright smile and sparkling eyes. Her friends recall her on the tennis court, the ski hill, at football games, at the bridge table and the book club. Many became her friends over their garden gates as she walked her adored dog Tiger, and across the table at charitable events. Friends will remember her great sense of humour, her fabulous entertaining, and her optimistic views on life. She was always kind, generous and openhearted and spoke ill of no one, but her first love was always her family. A Funeral Service will be held in Kelowna at Springfield Funeral Home at 2020 Springfield Road on Wednesday, August 26 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com 250-860-7077

In my childhood, Babs was my best friend and the light of my life. Babs and her brother Gordon were very much a part of our family. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
