HENRY CHARLES TURNER February 29, 1916 - August 20, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Dad, Grandpa, Great-grandpa on August 20, 2009 at Oakview Place with his daughter at his side. Henry was predeceased by his loving wife, Dorothy in 1997 and leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter Donna of Winnipeg; his son Don (Naomi) and grandsons Michael (Nicole) and Mark and great-grandson Riley of Selkirk; his brother William F. Turner of Medicine Hat; his sister Jean Rayner of Regina; plus many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Prior to retirement, Henry worked at Monarch Lumber. We thank the doctor, nurses and staff at Oakview Place for their kindness and compassion. We also want to thank Dad's family physician, Dr. Loepp for her wonderful care over the years. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to The Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, R3L 0K6 or a charity of one's choice. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with viewing prior to the service. Reception after the service with interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Dad was a devoted husband and father and you will always be in our hearts, Dad.
