HERMINA PINETTE (VANDENBOSCH) April 21, 1930 - August 18, 2009 Our beloved mother, Grammy, Great-Grammy, passed away suddenly on the morning of Tuesday, August 18, 2009, with all her family by her side. Mom was predeceased by her husband Renè Pinette, her parents, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and other family members. She is survived by her children, Jeannie Bauer (Jürgen), Reg (Donna), Carol Wass (Ed), Larry (Sue), Brenda Mitenko, Janice Neufeld (Wayne), Denise Drzewiecki (Steve) and Eric (Mary); 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her eldest sister Julia Verhaeghe; four sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Mom was born in St. Amèlie, MB to pioneer parents from Belgium. She was raised on the farm and after she was married, she and Renè moved to Winnipeg and started their family. Hermina worked outside the home for many years, but her main focus was always her family. She always loved to dance and enjoyed entertaining or socializing with her large family and many friends. In the last few years with her health declining and not able to get out much, she loved the visits from her children, grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. We are all going to miss you so much, Luv you Mom. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
