HELEN IRENE FRENETTE (nee BILLIS) On Monday, August 17, 2009, Irene died at Oakview Place at the age of 87 years. Remaining to forever cherish Irene's memory are her sister-in-law Mary Eldridge, as well as nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband George Frenette. Helen Irene was born on March 12, 1922 in Vancouver, BC, daughter of Horace and Elsie Billis (Rob). She married George in 1958 in Vancouver, BC, where they resided most of their lives. Although her name was Helen, she loved to be called Irene, which everyone knew her as. Irene enjoyed all the activities at the Personal Care Home and especially enjoyed getting visitors. In compliance with Irene's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Our family wishes to extend our thank you to the staff at Maples Personal Care Home Oakview Place for the care they provided to Irene.
