MARGUERITE (ROULEAU) FAVREAU (nee D'AOUST) Peacefully passed away on August 10, 2009 at Foyer Valade. She leaves to cherish her memory five children, Cécile Laurin (Leo), Lorraine Durand (Léandre), Irene Banasiak (Jan), Julie Hein and Gérard Rouleau (Stella Doucet), 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Marguerite was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Rouleau (1974) and Albert Favreau (1996), her brothers, Martin Jr., Lambert, Lawrence, Maurice, Martin and her sister Gertrude Turcotte. She is survived by siblings, Irene Bolen, Florence Lambsdown, Thérese Trépanier (René), brothers Raymond, Johnny, Julien and Albert . Marguerite was born February 7, 1919 in Zenon Parc, SK. While growing up, being domestically inclined, she helped care for her brothers and sisters. Mom loved to work. She enjoyed the sun, gardening, berry picking and baking bread. In 1991 Mom and Albert moved to Winnipeg where they enjoyed family gatherings, met many friends and played a lot of bridge. Marguerite left her home in 2004 and lived at Catherine Place, Beacon Hill and Foyer Valade. The family is extremely grateful to the friends, neighbours and healthcare professionals who cared for her the last few years. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd. Private interment to follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Foyer Valade, 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4
