OLIVE M. ORR It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Olive M. Orr (Langan) age 82 on August 20, 2009. She is survived by her beloved husband Russell; sons, Rodger, Douglas, and Lloyd (Angie), and daughter Colleen Rouse (Lyle); 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Clara, Zena, Irene and Jane; brothers, Fred, Archie and Wilfred, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Albert, Dave, and Lawina. Olive had many passions, including cooking, especially for large groups, baking, sewing, but most of all caring for her family. Olive was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan and met Russell when she was 22 at a dance hall in Winnipeg. On September 16, 2009, they would be celebrating 60 years of marriage. As a long time member of the West Kildonan congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Olive had a strong belief in the Bible's promise of a future with no more pain, tears, or death. (Revelation 21: 3, 4). We look forward to seeing her again in God's promised paradise. We would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface ICU for their hard work. In keeping with Olive's wishes, a private family service will be held.
