KELVIN WAYNE GRUSHKA It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Kelvin Wayne Grushka on Thursday, August 20, 2009. Kelvin will be forever remembered by his children, Aidan Grushka and Skylynn Sigurdson; wife Sandra; brother Fred (Pam) and mother Marjorie. Kelvin is also survived by nephews, Coleman and Joshua; niece Nicole and Uncle Julian. Kelvin was predeceased by his father Fred in 2007. Kelvin was born August 31, 1970 in Winnipeg and raised in Winnipeg Beach, MB. He graduated from Gimli High School in 1988 and then followed in his father's footsteps by pursuing a career as a journeyman carpenter. Kelvin took great pride in his work. As an instructor with the Carpenter's Union, he prepared students for their trade certification exam. Most recently, he was employed at the Wuskwatim Dam and owned and operated Advantage Eavestroughing Inc. Kelvin loved taking the children for quad rides through the mud. He touched the lives of many with his generosity, keen sense of humour and his contagious laugh. A celebration of Kelvin's life will be held Wednesday, August 26, 10:30 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli. Interment will follow at Winnipeg Beach Cemetery.
