MARJORIE LOUISE ROBINSON December 31, 1937 - August 24, 2009 Marj passed away at her home in Carman on August 24, 2009 at the age of 71. Marj was born in Miami, MB and grew up in Rosebank, Carberry and Carman, MB. In the late fifties Marj started out her working career in Winnipeg at Robin Hood Flour and then moved on to MTS Yellow pages in February 1959 where she worked until her retirement in April 1994. Marj was also very involved with the union for MTS employees. Marj had many loves in her life: pets, square dancing, travel, ceramics, eggerie, paper tole pictures as well as spending time with family and friends. Marj took great pleasure in watching her nephew and niece grow up and spent many happy hours planning and going on outings with them. Marj will be sadly missed by her sister Merle Maddison, her niece Wilma and husband Philip Bausman, her great-nephew Tony Bausman and special friend Allison Land of Carman, MB, her great-niece Holly Bausman of Cornwall, ON, and her great-great-niece and nephew Alyssa and Jack Bausman of Carman, MB, as well as her Aunts and many cousins and friends. Marj was preceded by her parents George and Gladys Robinson, her brother-in-law John Maddison, her nephew George Maddison. Funeral Service will be held at Doyle's Funeral Home, Carman, Friday, August 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Carman at 1:20 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pembina Valley Humane Society, Box 414, Morden, MB R6M 1K4.
