GEORGE L. BAZIN It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Lucien Bazin on August 27, 2009 at the Tri Lake Health District in Killarney, MB at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his nieces Christiane (Karl) Kynoch and Michelle Hill; his great-nephews, David and Jason Kynoch and a great-niece Melanie Hill. He also leaves five great-nieces and nephews which he adored. George was predeceased by his parents Victor and Melanie Bazin and his dear friend of over 35 years, Andy Poquet. George and Andy were well known antique dealers from the Rathwell District. George will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Our only consolation is his suffering is over and he is at rest. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Leon on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Rathwell Roman Catholic Church, Rathwell, Manitoba with a reception to follow in the Rathwell Community Hall. A private interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, contributions to Cancer Care Manitoba, 1160 - 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB would be appreciated.
