HELGA MONIKA GROVER (nee COLMORGEN) July 5th, 1931 - August 27th, 2009 In loving memory of Helga Grover (nee Colmorgen) born in Stalsund, Germany on July 5th, 1931, who passed away August 27th, 2009 at the age of 78. Helga was first and foremost a mother to her two children Jenny-Lou Ryan (Colin) and Oliver Grover (Charity), for whom she lived and breathed for. Helga always put them before anyone else. Helga's memory is cherished by her son-in- law Colin and their daughters Julia and Stephanie; daughter-in-law Charity and their children Seth and Nathan; her sisters Elisabeth, Erika, Eva and their families overseas and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Wolf and Kati Colmorgen and by her dear brother Karsten. She was loved and respected by all that knew her; a great lady who touched so many lives and will be forever loved and remembered. Helga was a sister in the Gospel of Jesus Christ of great spiritual strength with deep faith and love for God. She will be missed for her great contribution in music which was her passion. She also was a registered nurse with all her heart. Thank you Mummy, for all you have done for us. Your unselfish love will be cherished and you will forever remain in our conversations and memories. In keeping with Helga's wishes a cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, September 1 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Drive with a reception to follow. We would like to acknowledge the kind staff and residents of Thorvaldson Care Centre as well as the many Doctors and Nurses who cared for her over the years. We are also very grateful for the caring members of her church community. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 7100 Woodbine Ave., Suite 311, Markham, Ontario L3R 5J2.
