GERARD F. LAROSE October 1, 1923 - August 25, 2009 Peacefully on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009; our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 85 years. Remaining to forever cherish Gerard's memory are his wife Anne; daughter Theresa (Terry); son Rick (Joyce), and grandchildren Chris, Jessica, Megan and Eric. Also left to mourn are siblings Maria, Wilfrid, Yvette, Lionel, Blanche, Mariette, and Therese. He was predeceased by his mother Anna; father Gaudias and most recently sister Pauline. Gerry was born and raised in St. Narcisse, Quebec. He moved to Winnipeg as a young man where he met and married Anne. There he was employed as a bricklayer and had his own business, Gerry's chimney service, until his retirement. Dad's passion was his cabin, where he enjoyed many happy days hunting, fishing, trapping and snowmobiling. For the last few years he lived at Tuxedo Villa Care home where his wife still resides. As per Dad's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Happy Hunting Dad!
