Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNHARD HILDEBRAND On Sunday, August 30, 2009, Bernhard Hildebrand passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 97 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Helen of Portage la Prairie, son Clarence (Stella) of Winnipeg, daughter Rosie, son Gordon (Sharon) of Stony Plain, Alberta, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2009 at the Omega Funeral Home, with Reverend Larry Bird officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Catherine Newham-Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Crescent, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 1A7.
