JOHN WIEBE 1953 - 2009 On Friday, August 28, 2009 at Riverview Health Centre after a brief but severe illness, John Wiebe aged 55 years passed away. We, his family announce this with profound sadness and heavy hearts. John was born on September 15, 1953 in Winkler, MB and presently resided in Winnipeg. He leaves behind his wife, Hedy (nee Sawatzky) and son, Derek Wiebe; his father, Peter Wiebe; brothers, Ron and Emmy Wiebe, Bruce Wiebe and sister, Margaret Muggs and Ike Peters as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and a multitude of good friends. John will be greatly missed. He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret Wiebe (nee Miller) in 2000. A celebration of John's life; a memorial service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 252 6th St. in Winkler.
