Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL (MIKE) DANIEL KOZMINSKI It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father and Dgi at the age of 87 years at Holy Family Nursing Home on Friday, August 28, 2009. He will be lovingly missed and dearly remembered by his son Bob (Deirdre), daughter Cathy (Glenn) Cross, and daughter Pat (Roger) Van Ryssel. He was Dgi to his grandchildren Matthew (Kelly), Megan (Kyle), Jason (Julie), Amy, Emily and Brooke as well as great-grandchildren Carter and Chandler Kozminski, and Jenna and Justin Cross. He is also survived by his sister Jean Anderson-Hink of Bloomington, MN and his brother John Anderson of Burlington, ON, step-sister Joyce Cramer and step-brother Leo Kozminski. Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife Emily (1974) and his sisters Molly and Mary. While employed at Scott's Bakery as a deliveryman he met the love of his life Emily. They were married in 1942. Many remember him as a hard working man with his strongest passion being the Automotive Industry where he spent the majority of his career. Truly a unique man... Once met, never forgotten. Our family wants to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at The Holy Family Nursing Home for their outstanding care, respect, and compassion. In particular we want to acknowledge his caregiver Elizabeth... An Angel on Earth . A private family funeral and interment will take place at St. Michaels Parish in Cook's Creek, Manitoba at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Family and friends are most welcome to join the family at a Memorial Celebration service at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. (Roblin and Dieppe) at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Flowers gratefully declined, should friends so desire, donations can be made in Mike's memory to Holy Family Nursing Home, 165 Aberdeen Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 1T9. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

It is with great sadness I hear of Mike's passing. I was thinking of him the last time I was in Winnipeg. I was appraising a Blue Mark with the same lipstick package as Mike's old Lincoln. - Posted by: Ken Knight (Family) on: Sep 06, 2009
