JENNIE (JEAN) BIEDRON It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennie (Jean) Biedron on August 29, 2009 with her family by her side. Mom was born and raised in Pine Ridge, Manitoba after which she moved to Winnipeg. Left to cherish mom's memories are her husband Casey, who cherished her love for over 55 years; children Richard (Tina), Bobbi (Fred), Robin (Mike) and Rachelle (Joe); grandchildren Randy (Shauna), Susan, Kara, Scott and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Andy, Kara Lee, Zack. Mom also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mom is survived by her three siblings, Johnny (Helen), Ann and Nellie (Toronto) as well as her sisters-in-law Frances (Montreal), Ann and Sophie. Mom was predeceased by her parents, John and Nettie Stasynec; her brothers, Bill, Mike, Steve, Nicky, Walter, Stanley and her grandson, Matthew. Mom was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put her family first. She always found time to cook and bake for everyone, knit or crochet for her grandchildren, as well as keeping an immaculate home. Even during her weakest moments, Mom was always more concerned about others. Mom and Dad travelled many places through their years together including Hawaii, Mexico, Florida, Las Vegas, New Orleans and several places across Canada. They also spent over 30 years at the trailer in Kenbro Park where many happy times and friendships were made. Mom also enjoyed her special trip with her sisters to Nashville. The family would like to thank Dr. Martens, Dr. Harris, Dr. Guzman, the Doctors, Nurses, Pastoral and Health Care staff at Concordia Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and the Home Care staff for all their kindness and compassion shown towards our mom. Thank you also to Mom and Dad's neighbours. Thank you Rev. Jeff Cook and Rev. Carol Fletcher for your support. Dear Mom, we love and miss you very much. You'll remain in our hearts forever. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg MB. Funeral service will be on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Avenue West, Winnipeg, MB, with Rev. Jeff Cook and Rev. Carol Fletcher officiating.
