ANNE ROSTECKI On Monday August 31, 2009, Mrs. Anne Rostecki died at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 98 years. Remaining to forever cherish Anne's memory are her children Robert (Ann), Rozalynde and Randy (Evelyn), as well as five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary (Hower) Wasney, being the last survivor of 13 children. Anne Wasney was born at Garson on March 4, 1911, growing up among her large family. She married Kazmir Rostecki on July 24, 1932 at St. Michael's Church, Cooks Creek. Anne and Kazmir moved into their Redwood Avenue house in 1933, and it remained her home for the rest of her life. Her three children were her pride and joy, and she loved us all equally, though her life was not always easy. After Kasmir's death Anne followed an independent lifestyle despite increasing age, making her own decisions until her stroke on July 18. We loved our Mother very much and appreciated her devotion to us. She was a talented artist who passed her creativity to all her children. We are proud of her and will miss her greatly. In compliance with Anne's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A graveside service will take place at a later date in Cook's Creek. Rest in Peace, Mom. Thanks
