Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK DAVID (BUD) FOLSTER It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear father, brother and friend, Frederick (Bud) Folster on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. Bud leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter Dianne, sister Lillian, brother Sid and wife Myrtle, along with nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Kay, his parents, Dina and David and sister Pearl. Born in Winnipeg on November 17, 1921, Bud served in the RCAF during the Second World War. During his working career, he had worked with CPR, Great West Life, and Sanford Evans. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Elmwood Branch #9 and Rossmere Golf and Country Club. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Bethania for their dedication and care. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy., with Rev. Heather Sandilands officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Bud's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
