Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE (LES) WILLIAM FEADER 1946 - 2009 Leslie William Feader of Winnipeg, MB passed away peacefully on September 1, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital with family by his side. Les is dearly loved and remembered by his wife of 30 years, Donna; his mother-in law, Margaret Gudmundson; his sister, Margaret (Barry) Brown of Saskatoon; his sister-in-law, Diana Gudmundson of Winnipeg. Les will be greatly missed by his niece (Leah) and nephews (Ryan, Daryl and Colin) plus his great-nephew (Braydon) and great-nieces (Jada, Kaya and Cassandra). He will also be fondly remembered by his two aunts, many cousins, friends, and extended family members (Audrey and Connie Feader, Lindsay Maurice and family, Killarney). Les was predeceased by his mother (2007) and father (2009). Les was born in Moosomin, SK on August 9, 1946 to Harvey and Dorothy Feader and soon after the family moved to Killarney, MB. In 1956 Les, his Mom and sister moved back to Moosomin where Les went to school and completed his Grade 12. He then went to Brandon in the late 1960's to work for M.T.S. and a few years later moved to Winnipeg to work for the same company until he took early retirement in 1996. He then made a fantastic contribution working with Alcoholics and Drug Addicts; he also worked in the Addiction Treatment Centre for a number of years then retired again. During his life, Les was involved with Cubs and Boy Scouts, played football, basketball, hockey and enjoyed golfing and swimming. He has always been an avid football fan with his loyalties divided between the Bombers and the Riders. He did volunteer work for a number of years in Winnipeg. He loved to travel whether it be near or afar and looked forward to the bi-weekly Saturday evening dinners and card games with his wife and mother-in-law! Les was a compassionate person who always looked for the good in everyone he met and as a result found many friends everywhere. Each one of you made a difference in Les' short life and he treasured your friendship to the end. He will be remembered for his unwavering generosity, honesty, and great sense of humour. Thanks go out to all of the medical professionals for their care and compassion. Special thanks goes out to my mother Margaret and sister Diana for all their support, sister-in-law Margaret for making the trip down and my nephew Daryl for spending the day with Les. At Les's request there will be no funeral service but we ask that you please hold a special place in your heart for him. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to a charity of your choice. Until we meet again. Love Always. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 BROADWAY, WINNIPEG, MB R3C OX4 783-7211 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsonfuneralchapel.com
