Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES HENRY LEE (HARRY / JIM) February 1, 1941 - August 31,2009 Peacefully in the early hours of Monday morning on August 31, 2009 at the St. Boniface Hospital James Henry Lee (Harry) lost his long and hard battle to Leukemia, with his wife and children by his side. James was predeceased by his father James Henry Lee and three siblings Stewart, Shirley and Carol. James will be lovingly remembered by Bev, his loving wife of 37 years, children Kelly (Shannon) Lee, Melanie (Jason) Archibald, Cindy (Fabian) Copeland, grand-children Chanda, Riley, Autumn, Jade, Jesse James. James is also survived by his mother Annie Lee, ten siblings and their families, Dorothy, Eleanor, Bill, Doug, Donna, Brian, Stewart, Barb, Margie, and Jimmy. Harry's passion was to be in the cab of his truck. During his career of over 50 years he drove millions of miles coast to coast, his last years of driving were spent at Wildwood Transport. The single most joy and love of his life was his family. A celebration of James's life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Birtle, Manitoba at the United Church, also on Wednesday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel 211 Regent. Our family would like to thank Cancer Care at the St. Boniface Hospital and the palliative care nurses. A special thanks to nurse Gloria on the 5th floor. There isn't a day Dad that I truly don't miss you, you were and are my hero Dad! There are not a lot of people that know and understand me the way you did father. You made me who I am today and thank you for that if there was any greater man I haven't met him yet because in my eyes NO ONE could ever stand up to you Dad. My father, the greatest most Hard working man. I still miss you the same as the day the angels came. It gets hard around this season, I know you're always with me and my boys. It's been 3 yrs and not one day has gone by I don't think of you, talk about you or look at your picture.
