WILLIAM YURCHAK Peacefully with his wife by his side, Bill passed away on August 31, 2009 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife June and mother Anne; brothers, Syl (Eileen), Peter (Tracey), Fred (Yolande); sisters, Terry (George) Tanner, Ruth Yurchak, Liz (Dick) Gelley; nephews, nieces, great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Joseph. Bill was born on January 14, 1936 in Reinland, Manitoba. He was the first born of Joseph and Anne Yurchak. He loved life and his family and took joy in cooking, woodworking and gardening. He was happiest when he and June could attend family gatherings. Bill was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle and dear friend. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., with interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to St. Boniface Palliative Care staff, Dr. Crawford, Father Roland, and Wes for the Many Car Washes .
