ROSS BURNS Peacefully, on September 6, 2009 at the age of 80 years, Ross Burns passed away. Dad was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Annetta in 2000, father Roscoe and mother Lillian Burns. Dad will be dearly and forever remembered by those closest to him: sons, David and Patrick (Laura), daughters, Loretta (Dan), Linda (Vince) and Cathy (Bob). Five special grandchildren added much happiness to his life: Ian (fiancée Sarah), Kelly, Rachel, Stephen and Graham. They will miss their Grandpa who faithfully attended their many school and sporting events. Ross is survived by his sister Ivadell Kirton and many nieces and nephews. The family recognizes and respects the many years of care and companionship provided for Dad by their eldest brother David. Dad was employed with the Manitoba Telephone System for 43 years, retiring in 1985. We would like to express our gratitude to Riverview Health Center for the excellent care provided for our Dad with special thanks to Nurse Kelly and all of the staff of 3 West.
