GERTRUDE SILVA Peacefully, after fighting a lengthy illness, God called our wife and mother home. She deserves the rest. The past few years for Mom have been quite a struggle. She leaves to mourn her passing, Amaro, her husband of 56 years, sons Amaro Jr. (Jacqueline), Nelson, Wilson (Rhonda), and daughter Elizabeth, as well as grandchildren Marc, Emily, Michael and Thomas. Mom was a very kind and gentle woman who loved and adored her family. She also loved the many animals we had through the years. Mom was the heart and soul of our family and her passing leaves a very big hole that can never be filled. Words cannot express the deep love, gratitude and respect her children feel for her and we must find a way to heal our broken hearts. God bless you Mom.
