CYRIL EVANS (WALLY) WHALLEY 1916 - 2009 Wally passed away peacefully on September 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Joan and four daughters: Eileen Espinosa, Leslie (David) Frye, Geraldine Tooth and Doreen Whalley. He is also survived by his sister Eileen Richards, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Wally was employed by the T. Eatons Co. for 33 years. He was an avid curler well into his eighties, curling at Strathcona and then Deer Lodge Curling Clubs. He was proud of being a member of the eight-ender club and representing Manitoba at the Senior Men's Championship. Wally was an original Mr. Fix-It, who could make anything out of nothing. Wally enjoyed life to the fullest. Our thanks to the staff at Grace Hospital, Deer Lodge Centre and to the Home Care Professionals. There will be a family service.
