SYBLE KLADY Syble Klady, devoted wife, loving mother, passed away September 8, 2009 following a brief illness. She died just weeks from her 91st birthday. Born in Winnipeg to Isaac and Esther Marr, she attended St. John's High School where she was an honour's student. In 1940 she married James Klady on the eve of his enlistment in the Second World War. Syble operated a grocery store during the war. Following the war she raised a family and became involved in religious and philanthropic activities. She was known for her generosity, quick wit and ability to manage both domestic and social activities. She is predeceased by her husband and daughter Libby. Survivors include her sister Bess Salute of Palm Springs, daughter Zoey Margolis of Toronto and son Leonard of Los Angeles. Additionally she had six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Etz Chayim Cemetery. Donations in her name may be made to The Simkin Centre, 1 Falconbridge Drive.
